Our culture is so divided right now. Vitriol reigns. It seems the once-admired quality of reaching across the cultural or religious chasm to understand another person’s point of view with love is completely lost. Each side seems like they want to dominate the other side. But this leads to division and hatred. But I believe the answer to this is showing and feeling love for each individual person. Forget about the group the person belongs to. What is that specific person about? How can we love them, despite our differences? I believe wholeheartedly that once a person from the other political or social side feels that we love them no matter what, hearts can be changed–and with it, minds can be changed. We can literally change the world with love. That makes love, in my opinion, the most beautiful thing on earth — i.e., Fairest Is Love.
