Know That You Are Loved
Hymn composed by
Bruce Pollack-JohnsonContextual information
“Know That You Are Loved” was written because our congregation needed a song to sing our kids out for RE during the service. We had one we liked that mentioned God, and when we asked if it was OK to change the words, the answer was “no.” So I wrote this to give a similar, supportive, and loving way to sing the kids out. After writing it, I realized it also could work perfectly as a closing song for everyone at the end of a worship service.
